45. Jobstar of the region of Nuremberg is awarded to the company Petry Apparatus-Engineering Ltd. in Newmarket, Upper Palatinate.
Today the 45. Jobstar of the region of Nuremberg has been awarded to Manfred Seßler and Josef Dietmayr, managing directors of the company Petry-Apparatus Engineering Ltd. in Newmarket, Upper Palatinate. Seßler and Dietmayr received the trophy out of the hands of Lord Mayor Alois Karl, Josef Graf, department for industry and commerce and finances of the municipal authorities of Newmarket and Manfred Gehr, project manager of the regional marketing organization "The Region of Nuremberg, registered Society". With this trophy they were paid tribute to their special commitment regarding the employment creation in the region. Petry Ltd. is a young, flexible and dynamic enterprise with high demands on quality.
Their production mainly concentrates on the engineering of apparatus, containers, machinery and plants, tanks for solids, bunkers, silos, ventilation ducts and on the production of all kind of metal- and steel-constructions as well. In addition they render engineer services, as there are statics, hydraulics, conveyor technique and constructions for the production lines mentioned. For more than 25 years about 70 selected experts have been concerned with the apparatus- and metal-engineering in steel and high-grade steel and have thus represented the high quality standard of the company. Since the company take-over in July 1997 it has been produced on a production area of 3800 sqm. From1997 to the year 2000 the turnover had increased from 2.65 million DM and 19 employees to 7.12 million DM and 74 employees, with 16 of them as apprentices.
New intentions have been considered for this year as well:
A further increase in turnover to 9.50 million DM, the increase of the number of employees to 84 persons and 21 apprentices included.
In order to point to the commitment in particular of the medium-sized companies, which especially try for creating new jobs and apprenticeship places in the region, the Regional Marketing Organization together with RTL Franconia Life TV has established the "Jobstar Award".
Monthly one employer, who had stood out due to his successful commitment is selected. Besides the attractive Jobstar trophy the price includes free advertising minutes with RTL Franconia Life TV and an article in the German and English news service "Regio Press of The Region of Nuremberg, registered Society".
The Jobstar award is a surprise for the employer and is filmed by a camera team of RTL Franconia Life TV and broadcasted by the end of the month.

Newmarket. On Tuesday the regional marketing organization "The Region of Nuremberg" and RTL Franconia Life have awarded the 45. Jobstar to the company Petry-Apparatus Engineering Ltd.Seßler-Dietmayr in Newmarket for their commitment regarding the employment creation.
Manfred Seßler and Josef Dietmayr received the trophy out of the hands of Josef Graf, manager of the department for industry and commerce and finances of the municipality, and Manfred Gehr, project manager of the regional marketing organization.
Besides the statue, which is awarded monthly, the company obtained 200 free advertising seconds with RTL Franconia Life.
"In order to point to the commitment of the medium-sized companies, which in particular try for creating new jobs and apprenticeship places in the region, the Regional Marketing Organization together with RTL Franconia Life TV has established the Jobstar Award", said Gehr, on the occasion of the award on Tuesday afternoon. This award happened to the employers completely surprisingly.
16 Apprentices in the Company
In the year 1996 the company had had 15 employees. The previous year the number of employees already had increased to 74 persons. At the moment 16 young people were apprenticed to the company. "You do so much for our youth. If there were an Oscar for positions as an apprentice, you would deserve it", said Gehr.
Convincing middle-classes
The medium-sized companies in particular convinced with capacity, high quality and innovation power. "Such a growth, of course, can only be achieved with a motivating and exemplary management and staff members who are motivated and highly qualified in their field as it is the case in your company", he said.
